01. Preconstruction

Before any physical work begins, we initiate a focused preconstruction phase. We review plans, listen to client goals, collaborate with architects and designers, and translate ideas into a clear, costed, and scheduled plan. This stage typically spans 30 to 60 days and is often billed as a flat fee.

During this time, we assign a dedicated project manager to study drawings, consult multiple subcontractors, collect pricing, and build a budget aligned with the client’s comfort level.

Cambridgeport creates a construction schedule informed by experience, trade input, and a deep understanding of timelines. This process ensures clarity, alignment, and readiness before breaking ground.

02. Construction

Once plans and budgets are finalized, the project transitions to our construction team. We contract all approved subcontractors, draft detailed scopes of work, and build a reliable schedule to guide execution.

From there, our superintendent manages the site daily—overseeing trades, maintaining safety, ensuring cleanliness, and addressing issues as they arise.

While the superintendent handles day-to-day operations, our management team works behind the scenes—reviewing progress, coordinating logistics, and ensuring clear communication. From kickoff to completion, this layered approach keeps the project running smoothly and aligned with client expectations.

03. Maintenance

Our care continues long after construction ends. We offer ongoing maintenance to support our clients for years to come. Seasonal tasks—like HVAC servicing, gutter cleaning, filter changes, or shutting down outdoor water lines—are just the start.

We also handle historic home upkeep, troubleshoot AV and Wi-Fi systems, service radiant driveways, seal windows and doors, move seasonal furniture, and even replace light bulbs and grill parts.
