Designed with Catherine Truman, this new build required unique engineering due to its high water table. The concrete foundation was encased in a commercial-grade rubber membrane for waterproofing. Reclaimed siding from a Midwestern barn was remilled into modern tongue-and-groove boards and installed with a rainscreen system. The home features native landscaping, windows from British Columbia, a metal roof, hydronic flooring, and custom cabinetry throughout.
